Welcome to Taste Budd’s Cafe, a community coffee house and local den featuring fair trade organic coffees, handmade chocolates and pastries, house baked bread, panini sandwiches, soups and salads, visual art shows every month and live music three times a week!

Our great coffee and free wifi means you can come enjoy a fresh brewed cup while working, reading, or lounging. We are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

We also host art shows, live music, and offer catering and gifts for special occasions. Dine in, take out, or delivery options are available along with online ordering!

Picked the place randomly. I'm Gluten free and it's usually difficult finding a place with any variety or fairly priced. I was stunned by the large selection of gluten free options and I did not feel robbed after the fact. The food was great and I left feeling satisfied. The atmosphere was casual. There was live music while I was there. If I'm ever back in the area I will stop by.

Bard college hangout with a nice selection of trendy sandwiches, pastries, and coffee drinks. Food seemed to be very high quality. Decor is nice with a lot of colorful art on display. Some homemade candy is also available. Only a short distance a bunch of historic sites in Red Hook and Rhinebeck.

This is a terrific local cafe with lots of coffees and teas, plus outstanding house-made chocolates and desserts. Great for a quick breakfast or lunch and they often have live music and open mike sessions in the evenings. Our clients love receiving gift baskets from Taste Budd's. We needed some extra large gift baskets, so they created them for us and had them ready in no time!

Ok. So went on a Sunday night. Hours posted to close at 9:00pm. I get there before 8:00pm to find that they were closing. Chairs picked up and kitchen closed. I was told that they were just cleaning up early but could order dessert. Order dessert but could not give out plates because they were clean. Given plastic instead. Could deal with all that but I ordered decaf coffee. It was cold! On top of that is was not decaf!!! Now up all night! Also my guest ordered decaf and she is going to be up all night. On the up side the dessert was delicious
