It's  great  to have this  carribean  option in a small southern city. A great  surprise. Not the  best carribean food I've  had but certainly  not the worst. It is tasty and beats fast food hands down. It satisfies  my cravings and the  price  is right.

I don't know where to begin everything other than the rice was terrible. Jerk chicken blacker than street asphalt, brown stew chicken tasted like tree bark and it quickly went downhill from there. I spent $70 the smell is great it's when you put the food in your mouth that things take a turn for the worse. The workers are very pleasant and provide great service, it is a nice little place with seating and a few unique poems on the walls. Decor is eye pleasing, but if you have tasted REAL Jamaican food before you won't be pleased, if you have never had anything Jamaican before visiting this place you would appreciate the food. People line up ordering platter after platter...smh. Not what I'm used to my $70 went in the trash and we cooked at home that night.

This place was better years ago.  Last time I went, I was more disappointed then the time before.  I now live back in New York, so when I come down, this is where I go.  It seems as if, as time goes on, the food is becoming more americanized.  
The owner is great, but I feel as if the american people who work there, are watering down the food.  The people who think the food is great, obviously have not had a variety of authentic Jamaican food to compare it with.  The chicken patties are good, and the bread is great, but the stew chicken...  Anyway, I keep going back in hopes of getting it on a good day.  I really like the owner, so that is what brings me back.

Small restaurant off the beaten track. Awesome food with super nice workers. Would highly recommend if you're in the area for a quick and delicious bite.
