I'm only giving this one star because I otherwise won't be able to speak. HARBOR CITY WAS CLOSED DOWN DUE TO HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS. This place is gross the food isn't even sub par and the after receiving a coupon for a dollar off my meal in local magazine it was refused due to the fact of what he sign said which was 4.95.That being said the lady at the front counter charged me the full price for a lunch menu after muttering whether it was ok or not to to take my complete change. I allowed it to happen and simply ate my meal. The food is repugnant. It probably didn't help that I was upset about how petty and sneaky the lady was attempting to be. That being said upon my second try I was denied service and quote "Americans can take business elsewhere." I didn't not yell or scream or even raise my voice. I simply walked out of the establishment allowing the food to represent there poor character.If you have no regards for yourself this place is for you. If you have half a mind and an actual taste buds you would go to any of the other Chinese restaurants. Might I suggest "En Lai kitchen A&B "

Food absolutely spot on! If you only like Americanized oriental food, don't bother, you won't find it here. Everything that should be crisp is, the sauces on the various dishes are what they're supposed to be, not plain old brown gravy (beef and broccoli for example) or mostly set jello (sweet and sour for example). Crab Rangoon and General Tso's Chicken are my personal faves here. They just opened up, and the prices are very reasonable. When asked they said they plan to start delivery service sometime in February. This is my new favorite oriental restaurant!

If I didn't get thing wrong this restaurant opened after the legendary dirty Harbor City was closed by the city court and the owner is highly likely the same one (for those who don't know there is a Chinese food delivery app called RICEPO and the Harbor City disappeared right before this new one popes up on the App.). Highly concerned for the food safety there and would recommend anyone who sees this avoid this place. (WARM buffet food which shows up in other reviews should give you enough warnings, if not too much.)

Price was like $6.99 which was great! There were not a lot of items to choose from compared to Tekkanaki and there was no hibachi or sushi. However they had a few items I thought were pretty tasty. Nothing special that was incredible, but most everything I tried tasted as expected to; some of the meats were really tough and overcooked or had been sitting out too long. The service was very good and staff were friendly.

The ambiance is nice, the staff is friendly, and it's very cheap even for a Chinese buffet. The food is very bad though. Most of the food is sitting in containers with excess water in the bottom, so the texture goes by the wayside. Some entrees were not warm enough, actually gone cold.
