Took a family friend out for lunch for her 101st birthday but the restaurant she liked was closed. Put our heads together and found Tasty Noodle House, a place we'd never tried. We were pleasantly surprised when everything we ordered was very good. Service was very good, atmosphere was middlin'. We'll definitely be back again.
Tasty noodles at Tasty Noodle House! We ordered the seafood chow mein with black pepper sauce shrimp, scallop, squid, white fish, marinated pork feet noodle soup, and Shanghai grilled pork bun. Everything tasted amazing. Friendly and quick service. Suggest getting street parking on a parallel road then trying to park in the parking lot. Recommend!
A friend recommended Tasty Noodle House to me, and it led to a great experience. We were craving the pork dumplings which is a delicious experience on its own. They were juicy, peppered well and had a nice crispy outer edge at the base. We also ordered the orange chicken and the sauteed shrimp. Both of those entrees were also prepared well and combined with the pork dumplings created an overall great meal. There are plenty of options on the menu. In addition to the food, the customer service was excellent! The server and busser were both friendly and had our drinks topped off. I definitely would come back and order those dumplings as well as some new options. Eat up!!!
The eggplants were so creamy and delicious! The noodle was good portion as well. The soup dumplings didn’t meet the expectations as there was almost no soup inside but taste was good. Overall, it’s a solid 4.5 star.Food: 4/5
Tasty Noodle House is our go to place for comfort food. We usually eat late lunch there because finding parking is a challenge during peak time. We ordered our usual dishes: Shanghai pan fried pork bun, pan fried cilantro fish dumplings, fish noodle soup and spicy fish with tofu noodle soup. Three minutes after our order was taken, waitstaff brought out the Shanghai pan fried pork bun, food was hot and tasty. All other food came out fast and piping hot as well. Prices went up slightly but still reasonable. This is still one of our favorite restaurants for comfort food.
Family styled comfort food. We ordered the House Sauce Noodles with Pork, Thai Styled Fried Rice, 10 Chive and Pork Dumpings and Prawn with Spicy Minced Pork Noodle Soup. I really liked the Prawn with Spicy Minced Pork Noodle Soup but everything tasted good too. Can’t go wrong at this restaurant! Also it can get super busy as well.Food: 4/5
11-17-23 Food: 4/5 -Seafood Chow Mein $15.99– lacked the black pepper sauce. Not as tasty as the last time we had it. -Shanghai Grilled Pork Buns $14.50– one of our favorite dishes here. Flavorful, piping hot and crunchy bottom. -Rice $1–perfectly cooked. Service: 4.5/5 Fast and attentive
I had lunch with a friend at Tasty Noodle House on a Friday around 11:30 AM. There was plenty of parking and tables available. It stared to get busy a bit after 12 PM. We got the Shanghai Grilled Pork Buns, Green Onion Pancake, Shanghai Sticky Rice Shiu-Mai With Pork, and Shanghai Xiao Long Bao w/ Pork. The portions are quite large so for 2 people this was a lot of food and we went home with left overs. The grilled pork buns were delicious and my favorite item! The filling was really well seasoned and the grilled bun added a nice crisp. I thought the sticky rice shiu-mai was fun but don't order this expecting it to be like traditional shiu-mai. This was primarily filled with sticky rice - not a ton of pork and shrimp. The xiao long bao was good but nothing special. I thought the green onion pancake was not good - it was very thin and oily. I wouldn't recommend that. We obviously didn't try any noodles but enjoyed the items off the dim sum menu. Parking: The parking lot in the shopping center is very small and crowded. I suggest looking for street parking - likely to be less stressful and less likely to have your car dinged by someone else.
Sooooooo tasty. see what I did there? The food here is really good. Like others have said, the House Noodles with Pork are amazing. The portions are big, so be careful how much you order. Also, like others have said, the parking lot is interesting and not in a good way. Best to get there early, and even then you might not get a spot. Parking aside, if you like noodles, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.
Service was fast and food was good although on the sweet side. The chicken in rice wine sauce may not be for everyone as the aftertaste is very strong. Beware....this place DON'T take American Express which is a deciding factor when I dine out. So it'll be a while before I return.Food: 5/5
