I absolutely adore this place: they have the best salt and pepper ribs and Singapore street noodles. The majority of chinese/Chinese American restaurants in Orlando are mediocre at best but this establishment has some very well made dishes. Their Chinese American dishes aren’t my favorite but their authentic Chinese is stellar. Fresh food with lots of flavor.
Tasty Wok is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Orlando. My favorite dishes are the BBQ pork crispy skin, salted pepper jumbo shrimp, and snow pea tips with garlic. The service is good, and the food comes out quickly.Food: 4/5
This place is an excellent, reliable, no frills place to eat. The staff was very attentive from the moment I sat down. I ordered the walnut shrimp which is one of my favorite dishes and they do it well. I also had the roasted duck. Good, but not my cup of tea. Lastly, I ordered fried dumplings. They were delicious. Overall, I'd gladly come back for more. I will likely try takeout next. Parking: Some street parking; can be difficult on days with lots of street traffic. More parking in the back, both street and parking lot.
Tasty wok is the best Chinese restaurant in Orlando. I love their foods specially salty pepper soft shell crabFood: 5/5
Food is not good at all. Chicken is way to rubbery and the “Noodles” are just dried up I think buncha homeless ppl are ordering leaving 5 star reviews *Edit - the chow main is pretty solid once the noodles soak. But again chicken is the most important part and it’s really not good at all :
One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to in general, and that's saying something since I've been to some really good ones. Their specialty is their Char Siu Pork, which is especially tender and juicy, but their Chow Fun is excellent as well. As a side note, don't listen to Michael Giesler, he ordered the pan fried seafood noodles expecting it to be lo mein, not crispy pan fried noodles. Parking: Parking lot is often full, and people seem to use it as a public lot even though it's specifically for the shopping center.
Our server was the best, food was awesome, portions more than generous, duck was the best I've ever had. I definitely will return.Food: 5/5
We came in February and ate here 3 times we are back now November and we couldn’t wait to come have duck and pork. We also added salt and pepper squid shrimp and it was gone too fast. Also enjoyed water chestnut and fish soup it feels so healthy and light I enjoyed that. Definitely recommend. .Food: 5/5
Tasty Wok was one of my favorites when I could get to this side since I live over an hour away. I always get takeout garlic rib tips, chitterlings with picked veg, and the fish filet with ginger/scallions. Im not sure if its under new management or if they have new cooks. Nothing that I ordered tasted or looked like it usually does. The chitterlings with vegetable was horrible neither my husband or I liked it. We both ate 1 spoonful and threw it away. The fish was ok but not the usual. It had a ton a bell peppers in it which it usually doesn't. Seemed like a different fish too.. Also now has black beans and jalapeños in it which I wasn't expecting. My 4 yr old loves the fish filet but could eat it because of the jalapeños. That left me looking for an alternative for his dinner. The garlic rib tips were good but still seemed different. Think it has more flour or cornstarch on them now which wasn't too bad but still prefer the original version. So not sure whats happened Over the last for month but don't think I'll be visiting in the near future. Too far of a drive if the food isn't what I'm use to getting. I hope they go back to the old recipes because it definitely is great food when done right. But for now its a no go for me
Amazing Fresh quality Chinese food!!! The Roast Duck and crispy pork hanging up looks crispy and delicious!!! Our family favorite restaurant!!!Food: 5/5
