The 109 has been beautifully renovated to reflect Williamston's history and community roots... This restaurant recreates a classic restaurant as well as an old fashioned tavern-style bar with 12 craft brews on tap.

I LOVE this place. If you're on your way to Lansing, stop in. The food is delicious.  The truffle fries and homemade chips are so good!! I also love the fig margarita and lavender martini! The option to by a growler of draft beer is really cool too. Great local place with great drinks, food and bar staff!

We tried the gluten free cauliflower pizza crusts and they were great! Cooked perfectly, very crispy thin crusts that I couldn't even believe we're cauliflower. The pizza toppings were amazing. We got both the pear and the sweet potato varieties. They were both delicious but the pear won out with a great balance of sweet and savory (sweet potato was a tad on the sweet side). But will totally be coming back and trying the rest of the menu as they all sounded amazing.

Food is decent but i would say overpriced, the staff is great, nice but not in your face. The atmosphere and the decorations are also nice. Went there for lunch and it was a peaceful quiet. Only thing breaking the quiet is that the cooks were loudly talking and the kitchen is right in the main area so every word came through. Has an interesting menu, but all the really good looking stuff has the price to match. I got the chili mac and it was surprisingly good.

LOVED Tavern 109, but I should point out that I didn't try the food on this visit, only stopped by for drinks. But I was very drawn to the vibe of the place..as you can see in the photos, had a sort of roaring-20's feel...the industrial look to some extent, which is very in vogue currently, but it felt genuine for the building and the town. I had a white wine flight, my friend tried the red wine flight, whereas our partners opted for cocktails. Presentation was lovely, and I could have sat in that environment all night. I will definitely go back to try the food.

I love this restaurant. It's become our hot-spot for kid-free date nights. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and super helpful to describe anything iyn the menu. The food is a little different - lots of tastes I wouldn't think to put together (their swine Mac n cheese is good!). I love trying different beers/Ciders on tap from local breweries too.
