The Tavern was formerly an Italian Restaurant named Taverna Italiano. It was purchased in 2017 by Business Man Mike Handy, and former First Round NFL Draft Pick Brandon Meriweather, both local Apopka residents. Together with their family members, they strive to make the Tavern the perfect hang out for families, friends, sports fans and locals that just want good food at good prices.
