My disabled daughter and I were discriminated against. We were in the middle of a transaction and he stopped it to take care of another person needlessly. When I brought it to his attention, he laughed.

Every time.....and I mean every time we go to the tax collector's office we are treated great. I noticed that they are patient and courteous with every one else too. Wonderful staff. Ruth Rodriguez Cutie Cars

I was pleasantly surprised we were greeted by a friendly clerk who was very professional and extremely helpful.

Since relocating to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale, I've had the opportunity to visit Tax Collector Carole Jean Jordan on two occasions for services normally offered by the Division of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Because of an Identity Theft block on my driver license and registration records, I must go to an office in person. I've dealt with supervisor Bill Phillips on each of the two occasions. Polite and knowledgeable, Mr. Phillips has always been able to address my concerns and expeditiously process my desired transaction. He even remembered me on a recent visit as - apparently - not too many people have this type of imposter block on their driver records. Short lines and clean office at the Tax Collector's Office of Indian River County. I'm used to rude staff, long lines, and stuffy conditions where I come from in South Florida. Not the case with this office. Polite staff and clean conditions. Five stars to Bill Phillips and the staff at this particular office run by Carole Jean Jordan. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr.
