You always want someone that won't try to pull the wool over your eyes.  After the lastest spring storms, I had three different roofing companies stop by my house and told me stories of how bad my roof was, and they would work with the insurance company to get the job done correctly.

I was at a business after hours and met Mel from Taylor Roofing, who said he'd be glad to have the roof inspected and evaluated.  Long story short - I really didn't need a new roof, but I needed some repairs, and needed to keep my drains cleaned.  I know I'll call them first, when I need the roof replaced, just for their upfront honesty.
