Horrible customer service, bankers who don't care if you get screwed over as long as they get the account and credit for it. Never a straight answer, no concept of honesty. I wouldn't let them bank for a dog, let alone anyone who actually cares about their money

Customer service really does suck! And it's ridiculous that u have to sit on a automated system to talk to a actual banker not someone in front of a phone and computer!

All the people are just lovely. I had a check blow away on me and the manager attempted to help rescue it

I have always had great customer service here.  But TCF as a whole is behind the times. Who doesn't offer mobile banking? TCF.  Drives me crazy.  Huge bank. Small steps.
