What a nightmare.  I have a very large check drawn off TD Bank and I needed the funds to be available immediately, so instead of waiting a couple days for the check to clear at my bank(Bank of NH, which is freaking awesome!), I go out of my way to TD Bank at the Gilford NH location.
TD then hits me with a $7.00 fee to cash their own check.  Then I ask to have a bank check done up so I'm not walking around town with thousands of $$ and again, because I'm not a member, they forced me to take cash.
This process took a half hour of my time and $7.00, of which I cannot get either back...  
If you have TD Bank, SWITCH.  If your considering them, DONT.  For your sake and everyone that you may ever right a  check to.
So what happens if someone writes a check for 7.25, you get a quarter back after fee's.
