Went at night to see the bioluminescent algae. It was a magical experience. Definitely visit if you're in the area in the late summer

Truly magical place. These scenic views never get old, and continuously amaze me year round. Would like to mention that in warmer temperatures especially, this is a fantastic spot to view marine life. Sea urchins, sea cucumbers, sea stars, crabs, and other various critters in the water easy to see.

Quick little hike to the beach. There's tons of other hikes around here but what's cooler than a hike through the forest to the beach and passing by a train track??!! I'd check out Clayton Beach. Its right down the road by Larabee state park

This is a small hike down the road and across the railway track to a secluded rocky beach. Great place for pets to chill out, but that means dogs are off leash a lot. Hence rating 4 stars. There is however a stairway just after crossing the railroad tracks, which gives great views of the sound. Parking on the side of the road is limited to about 10-12 cars, so might be a problem on crowded days.

It's a nice little spot. There can be lots of people though, and a train goes by fairly often.
