Story

SHALOM!
Our congregation is a URJ (Reform) affiliated congregation located in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody, Georgia. Ours is a congregation dedicated to upholding the principles of Reform Judaism and Jewish family values. We are a congregation deeply committed to Tikkun Olam - Repairing the World - through our ethical and social responsibilities to our community, our world and the land of Israel.

Temple Emanu-El was founded in 1978 by a small group of families with a beautiful vision: to create a spiritual home where they and their children could live and learn as Jews. Today, it is our challenge to keep this vision alive.

Warm, friendly and inviting...educational, social, and spiritual..... The synagogue has a lot to offer no matter your situation...single, married or a family. Wonderful clergy and support staff. Visitors are always welcome, traditional reform services Friday nights and Saturday mornings.

Our family has been members for more than 10 years. It is our home away from home. Incredible clergy and best Sunday School in Atlanta.

I have been a member for almost 10 years and Temple Emanu El is a very warm, welcoming synagogue. My wife and I were an interfaith couple and we felt at home at Temple Emanu El. Rabbi Spike (and Marita) and Cantor Lauren have taken Temple Emanu El to another level and the energy of the synagogue continues to grow with the addition of Rabbi Max and Rabbi Rachael. If you are looking for a reform synagogue in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area, I highly recommend Temple Emanu El!

Temple Emanu-El is a warm and welcoming place. There are programs that appeal to all ages, and they have a top notch preschool and religious school. There are so many ways to get involved, but the best thing about Temple Emanu-El is the clergy!

Have been a congregant since 2003. Every year TE gets better and better. TE offers something for everyone !
