Providing a welcoming community to support and celebrate Jewish life for a diverse membership from across our region.

Temple Shalom is an intimate, welcoming Reform congregation embracing a progressive vision of Judaism. We come together as a community to celebrate Jewish living in its richness, welcoming members of all ages, family configurations and backgrounds. Our community comprises members from towns across our region who choose Temple Shalom for its uniqueness. We serve our members and the larger community with excellence and integrity as a:

• Beit T’filah – A house of prayer and worship, built on a rich and beautiful musical tradition and practice, creating an oasis of shalom in our otherwise hectic lives;
• Beit Midrash – A house of study throughout the life cycle, from childhood into adulthood and maturity, developing an understanding of our faith, traditions and heritage and instilling them in our children;
• Beit Knesset – A house of assembly and community, fostering interconnectedness among our members, with the community at large and with the Children of Israel, committed to the practice of tikun olam, or healing the world.
