This place has no atmosphere but the food and service are amazing!! Their lasagna has the most subtle and delectable beef I've ever eaten. The owner said he soaks the beef in chianti, which may be why it was so heavenly. Sauce was also delicious San Marzano tomatoes I believe. Salad was also spot on. Two thumbs way up!!!Food: 5/5
I had the Arrabbiata and my wife had the Milanese. We shared an order of garlic bread and a bottle of wine. Both meals were incredibly tasty and the prices are very reasonable. We just visited Italy a few months ago and it felt like we were back there! The owner came over and talked to us a few times and truly made us feel more than welcome, he made us feel like family. We can’t wait to come back!
This is probably one of the best Italian food we've had stateside. I highly recommend the mushroom ravioli and eggplant pasta. The arancini and burrata were also really good. I hope their truck gets the opportunity to come to our community.Food: 5/5
I've literally been a pasta freak my whole life and this spot is legit. Cooked perfectly. Owners super helpful and friendly. You won't be let down! Seating area is somewhat small but that's the only complaint. Check out more reviews on the "the frederick fatty" on FacebookFood: 5/5
After seeing so many good reviews on Google we went to this place for dinner. In terms of food it truly stands out. This place is full 5 stars. Food was very tasty. We wanted to try something without meat, the chef/owner recommended us Casarecce and Ravioli do Funghi. Both were 10/10, made our tastebuds very happy We also tried the Pistacchio e Ricotta cake which was very good.
We made a split-second decision and found ourselves inside this friendly little restaurant. I am a pasta lover, and let me just say it was the best Italian dish I have ever had! 100% worth the price. We split dish and it filled us both up. The service was kind and patient. My only note is the size of the restaurant is very small, and can be very quiet if you’re the only one in there. Not great for a large group of friends to sit down and eat, but it may just be worth it for the great food. Parking: You have to park on the street or in a parking lot a block away and walk to get there, as is with most shops in downtown Fredrick.
Stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant randomly visiting Downtown Frederick. Everything was fantastic. Fresh, tasty. Seafood in the bucatini nero was perfect. Tavala, burrata, limincello cake.... So much love and care was put into every single bite. Please go see them. Even got a porchetta to go. Could not resistFood: 5/5
Hiked at Little Bennett in the morning and decided to get Italian food. Found this place on Maps, and wow these reviews were totally on point! The staff were very attentive and showed us the different types of fresh pasta we could order. I had the Pasta Milanese and it was amazing. Perfectly salted and fried to perfection, you could hear the crisp when you cut into it with a fork. The fresh tagliatelle was great and the portions were quite generous. We'll definitely be returning here. Grazie mille!
We came across this place yesterday because the sushi place we wanted to go to was closed and we did not regret it one bit. This is hands down the best pasta I have had outside of Italy. All three dishes were absolutely delicious, the portions generous. The pomodoro sauce was the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, so even a simple spaghetti pomodoro was fantastic. On top of that, the service was super friendly, including a chat with the chef, who you can see preparing your meal, and quick. It felt a little bit like being in one of my favorite pasta bars in Milan. Loved it and will definitely be back when I am next in Frederick.
Best lasagna I’ve had outside of Italy! Found this place in google maps looking for lunch in the area, and I am incredibly surprised, amazing lasagna! Their pastas are homemade. It is a small mom and pop restaurant and it feels like a homemade meal that warms your heart but professionally made if that makes sense.Food: 5/5
