Ten Thousand Villages in Ephrata, PA, the first and largest store in the Ten Thousand Villages network, offers exquisite fairly traded home decor, gifts and personal accessories reflecting the traditions and cultures of artisans from the developing world. Our spacious store includes the Bunyaad Rug Room and The Café @ Ten Thousand Villages.
Ten Thousand Villages' mission is to create opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our markets through long-term fair trading relationships.

We also sell fair trade coffees, chocolates, and teas from some of our fair trade partners.

The Oriental Rug Gallery carries hand-knotted, heirloom quality Oriental rugs made by fairly paid adults in Pakistan. You will find more than 1500 rugs in sizes from 2x3 to 10x14. Our Cafe features a fair trade espresso bar, fair trade coffees and teas and other specialty drinks along with fresh, delicious soups, salads, quiches, wraps, panini, and desserts.
