The food was very good. Solid 8/10. However, the service very subpar. Servers were confused and didn't know which one was serving our table. Wait for food was unacceptably long. We had to ask for menus, water, and check by raising our hands and waiting for the server to notice.

Food is so so, not so good, but not the worst. Service is ok. I feel like it used to be better but the last two times I went I didn't really enjoy it.

Food is usually good. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. However, this establishment is always stingy with their French Fries! (Always an issue!)

Tenafly Diner is one of the better diners in the area. I usually come for the breakfast. The pancakes and anything with eggs are really good. I've taken my family here, and every one of them loved their meal. I'm giving it only 3 stars, though, because the food is not always fresh. I've tasted freezer burn on an order of French toast, and, yesterday, I received a wilted pickle with my Napa burger. Also, my onion ring did not have a fleshy onion layer in it, but it had the outer membrane layer which was tough and I wasn't able to chew. I had to pull the onion out and throw it away, and eat the breading of the onion ring by itself.

Have been to Tenafly Diner on several occasions the service is good and food is excellent .My waiter Paul is attentive to his customers and that's all I ask in a late night place
