Tender Greens is one of my favorite salad based spots with excellent menu items. I ordered the grilled salmon with romaine hearts, roasted vegetables with a side of fried chicken. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The vegetables were roasted just right and the salad was great. The fried chicken was just a little overcooked but it was still good, flavor wise. Overall a solid lunch. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items. Parking is limited to street or local structures. Great lunch spot if you’re walking distance.
In a word: Tasty. The food here is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. There is a good selection of items to choose from on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the salads and the fresh roasted vegetables. I tasted the chipotle chicken and it was tender and tasty. Ok, I went back the next day and ordered the Italian salad and it comes with a tomato vinaigrette, all housemade. I loved the mixed greens, arugula, riddichio, salami and cheese, olives and red onions. Very good! I especially enjoyed the desserts, which I enjoyed both times as I went back a second time to get the carrot cupcake and caramel macadamia cookie. Yummy! Would I return to this restaurant? Yes!
The food is delicious . I was a little disappointed with the service, my food took longer than 15 mins. I was the only one ordering. I ordered the sear tuna, and the center was still cold. The thing about this dish is you can have it cold or warm. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. Vegetarian options: Different veggies options Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp.
I am very disappointed with the falafel wrap I had at this location. I tried it for the first time in Manhattan Beach last week and it was delicious, so I was excited to have it again. However, the wrap here DTLA was cold and stale. I am not sure what went wrong. I requested a refund and received it, so points to them for that. The Manhattan Beach Tender Greens location has set the bar very high. Lol. I'll stick to going there.
The food is inconsistent, hit or miss, and overpriced for the portion sizes you get. Placed two orders of steak salad and fish sandwich. The steak itself tasted great but the vegetables sides were paltry and not fresh. The fish sandwich was just horribly dry and tasteless. I’d not try it again.Food: 2/5
The food is very tasty and lots of different vegetables are provided. Highly recommend that if you are looking for something on the healthier side not processed, that punch a great taste! Service was nice, where food was brought to the table. I can see this chain is quite popular with takeaway and it is a shame the layout of the interior looks a bit "fastfood" when in reality the interior could be furnished with live plants and changing the layout of it all! Vegetarian options: Decent amount of vegetarian options but lots of healthy greens!
Ordered lunch with my office. I wanted the falafel sandwich and was told they don't have that. So I went with the chicken sandwich. Wasn't terrible but won't order again. The bun was burnt, barely and slaw and the chicken was soggy! Also looked like they somehow breaded white meat and dark meat together because half my sandwich was dark meat and half was white meat. All their other dishes did say that it was both white and dark meat. However the sandwich did not mention either. Had I known it was white and dark meat I never would have ordered. Overall just disappointed and had to find something else for lunch
Easy eats in downtown LA. Great salads and sandwich options as well as yummy bowls. Had the steak salad with a side if farro salad. Steak was delicious. Salad was a little salty with olives and feta cheese, but I enjoyed it. Farro salad was good. A definite place to come back to for a quick and affordable bite to eat in downtown LAFood: 5/5
I love your chicken soup, but last time they delivered 2/3 of a bowl. That’s sucks Food: 5/5
I ordered delivery. Plate looked nice when I got it but absolutely flavorless. Steak was burnt and had no seasoning, vegetables were hard and bread was completely burnt on one side. The most delicious part was the arugula salad I added feta cheese to it. Also added seasoning seasoning to steak but it didn’t help. Honestly save your money folks.
