To be clear, the four star rating means it's a four star car wash -- given what it is: an old-school urban non-tech very basic do-it-yourself-car wash.  It's not the best car wash around. It ain't pretty. It doesn't have the latest anything. But the place is kept clean and in working order. And it gets the job done. No frills. No extras.  Just water, soap, brush, rinse and vacuum. All for a fairly decent price of $7 (or $4 for a shorter wash time) plus $2 for 5 minute vacuum.

Always crowded, inflated prices, and not maintained all that well. Even if I add tokens to add time, I always feel like I'm rushing through the wash. The only real upsides are the location and the fact that they take credit cards for tokens. Will I be back? Probably. But do I want to? Definitely not. The only other similar option in the city that I've found is the self-wash station on Geneva Ave near Schwerin off the Cow Palace exit.

There are 5 or 6 bays tall enough to accommodate even a big rig truck. A kiosk on the lot dispenses tokens needed to operate any of the high pressure sprayers located at shoulder height in each drive through bay.

Little expensive car wash starts from $7 for about 4 min time I had finished rinsing and start using soap brush when the countdown started, I had to drop 4 more tokens for $4 to finish my wash. We are talking about a compact car honda fit.

Expensive. 7 dollars minimum.  Poor sprayer pressure. Had to use it to get some goop dumped on my car off in order to avoid damage to the paint.  Before the pressure was very good about a year ago.
