Terra Dental Team

Our dental team is very friendly and customer service oriented. We treasure our patients and we try to make your visit as pleasant and worry-free as possible. Our doctors come with extremely strong educational and professional background. They have received their dental degrees from top dental schools in US: New York University, Rutgers University and University of Pennsylvania. They custom tailor every patients treatment plan to meet their individual treatment needs and esthetic desires. To those who are seeking esthetic improvement along with their dental care our doctors can offer multiple procedures such as Invisalign (invisible braces) and veneers as part of the comprehensive restorative approach of smile design. By using the latest dental techniques we provide our patients with excellent treatment results.

Lidia Simeonova, DDS

Dr. Lidia Simeonova used her vision for excellence in dental care performed in a modern hi-tech environment and materialized it in the creation of Nova Dental Center in 2009 followed by Terra Dental Center in 2014.

Dr. Lidia Simeonova is a graduate of Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. After relocating to U.S. she completed four more years of graduate school at NYU College of Dentistry. She received her second Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU in 2005. In her own words: “I must really love my job to have gone through two dental schools in the period of 10 yrs!”

For her exceptional dental work and capabilities, Dr. Simeonova accepted a full-time faculty position at The Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care at NYU. Having additional special training in the area of clinical research, she also took a position as a Clinical Research Investigator at Bluestone Center for Clinical Research. While enjoying teaching and being part of the creation of science behind dentistry, the increased patient demand and the exceptional growth of her private practice forced her to devote herself full-time to her patients. She uses her teaching abilities and extensive scientific research knowledge to educate her patients and implement the newest dental technologies available into her practice. She was featured on the cover of the popular Doctor of Dentistry Magazine as a model of professional and technological dental advancement. .

Dr. Simeonova’s biggest asset is her great personality and gentle touch. She loves her work and is highly dedicated to giving each patient an individual treatment approach that meets their specific dental needs.

Stacey Traina, DMD

Dr. Stacey Traina began training for a career in dentistry as early as high school when she was accepted into a 7-year, accelerated program in Chemical Biology at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. This allowed her to earn her Bachelor of Science in just three years, and she still managed to graduate with High Honors in the top 3% of her class. The next four years were spent at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey (now Rutgers University) where she continued to work diligently towards achieving a DMD degree, making the Dean’s List every year and earning membership in the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.

Dr. Traina then trained as a general practice resident at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ where she gained exceptional experience in all phases of dentistry. Now practicing for over ten years, she keeps current on all of the latest and greatest in dental care by attending continuing education courses all year long. The New Jersey Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, are among the several professional societies that Dr. Traina is a member, as well as a certified Invisalign provider.

Dr. Traina joined the team at Nova Dental in 2013. She takes pride in being a meticulous dentist who pays attention to every detail. With her outstanding demeanor and professionalism, and genuine concern for each patient both personally and dentally, Dr. Traina is a great asset to our team as she is dedicated to providing quality dental care.

A lifelong Jersey City resident, Dr. Traina is married to her high school sweetheart Justin and together they are raising their son Anthony. Dr. Traina loves her job as wife and mother and both keep her very busy.

Jessica Marinoff, DMD

Dr. Marinoff is from Philadelphia where she received her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, studying neuroscience and the biological basis of behavior. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Penn’s School of Dental Medicine in 2010. She continued her training at Virtua Hospital in Southern New Jersey, completing a yearlong residency in general practice dentistry.

Joining Nova Dental Center in 2014, Dr. Marinoff enjoys building relationships with her patients and providing compassionate, patient-centered comprehensive care. She enjoys practicing cosmetic dentistry and her goal is to help patients achieve and maintain healthy and beautiful smiles. With her caring and patient nature, she also enjoys treating the children in our practice.

Dr. Marinoff believes in lifelong learning and pursues continuing education opportunities to remain current with advances in dentistry. She is a certified Invisalign provider, a member of the American Dental Association and also active in the New Jersey Dental Association. Locally, she serves on the Board of Trustees of the Hudson County Dental Society as chapter Secretary and enjoys volunteering with the Give Kids a Smile program.

Dr. Marinoff resides in Jersey City with her husband, the Yorkie they rescued, and baby boy that they welcomed into the family in January 2016. She loves to cook and entertain and enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures through their cuisine. She is a big sports fan and enjoys attending Philadelphia Phillies and New York Jets games as well as spending time at the beach.
