Terra? More like Terrible.

I was assigned Terra by American Home Shield. They came out and incorrectly diagnosed the water tank as having a leak that would require the whole tank replacement. They did not respond to my calls, voicemails, or emails regarding the status of getting the necessary repairs. When I was able to get into contact with them, they indicated that they should have an answer from AHS soon. In the end I called AHS and was surprised to hear that they would not be covering it and that it was under manufacturer warranty. I called the manufacturer warranty and they indicated that the plumber (Terra) can call and get the approval. I relayed that information to Terra who never responded. I have now had to use an alternative plumber (who correctly diagnosed the issue as an element leak, not full tank leak). Now I am out even more money to get it fixed, and without hot water for a full month as I continued to try and get Terra to fix it.

I used them through my home warranty company. They called the warranty company and denied my claim. They left no estimate or anything to complete the repairs. Also, I have blood on my wall near the repair which I'm assuming was the contractors. So I now had to pay them my deductible and I'm stuck finding a new plumber for the repairs. I already have Capitol City Plumbing coming to fix it.

Had to use through my home warranty.  Plumber said I needed to cut a hole in the ceiling big enough to climb in and see what was going on.  I cut that hole and then another company was called out for a second opinion.  The other company fixed the problem and said there was no need for the hole.  Now I'm stuck with a $220 ceiling repair.  Very poor customer service and very difficult to get in touch with.  Would avoid if possible
