Delicious Mediterranean-inspired restaurant with great service, comfortable ambience, and unobstructed views of the Ferry building I visited this newly opened restaurant for Friday dinner and really enjoyed my meal. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Our server was very sweet and attentive, and we were served our dishes quickly and efficiently We ordered the mushrooms, chicken skewers, and charcuterie flatbread. The mushrooms side and skewers were very good - flavorful with simple ingredients. My favorite part of the meal was the shishito pepper purée that accompanies the mushroom dish. Try dipping the chicken skewers in the purée! The flatbread was just ok though- nothing special
I've waited until 4 visits now before making my review. I was tempted to give it a 3 star upon first visit, then 4 star after the next couple. But after this last visit, I'm glad I waited. Because they can get their rightfully earned 5 star review. I initially was going to deduct stars based on the starting price of their house cocktails those on the menu, $19!! Never seen signature menu cocktails starting at such a high price. But after several visits, I now see that these are no normal cocktails. They are high-end cocktails, with well designed recipes and attention to detail in mind. Also, they make true to recipe originals. Their sours, have actual egg yolk. They have clarified punches, which take hours and hours to make. On top of their menu cocktails being a step above, they lowered the price by a dollar. Most are now $18. The level of artisanship that goes into the cocktails has increased and the price decreased. Not to mention the bar staff is incredible. Glad I waited to review this place. Disclaimer, obviously I'm only basing my review on drinks. I haven't eaten here yet. But hope to do so soon. Also, though this place has won me over, I miss Americano so much. So it took some time for this place to grow on me.
Great cocktail and spirits selection and small bites… not to mention a great view and overall patio vibe. Glad to see a new place like this in the neighborhood!
Loved it! Walking in I loved the look of the place with all of the plants. All of the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our Tequila cocktails and all of our food. We shared the beet salad, roasted carrots and the Chicken and Beef skewers. Everything was really tasty and felt very healthy. My favorite part besides our unique and delicious cocktails was the Steak; absolutely perfect. We found this restaurant by searching for organic and sustainable restaurants. We really appreciate that and do our best to only support businesses that take that care. Excellent experience. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: We saw a couple there with a young child enjoying dinner.
Staying at the hotel and came here for dinner. Got drinks at the bar and decided to eat our whole meal there since Johnny and Adam were taking such great care of us and kept our drinks flowing - they have an impressive cocktail menu and very intentional on the details love the Verde flatbread. Food was a 4/5, but overall experience, staff and ambience made it a 5. Great location too next to the water
This is the place I brought my co-worker for discussion and bonding, and I feel very comfortable with the ambient as well as the service. When I engage in conversations with colleagues, I don't usually like being interrupted by attentive servers, I think they can sense this. Good lightings, clean bathroom, non-distracting music, and muted color decor. I recommend it.
This was our first visit to Terrene and overall, we enjoyed it, even though we didn’t feel super welcome at first… My friend and I were greeted by a hostess with two buns who looked annoyed we were there and like she didn’t want to be there either. She was highly unfriendly and almost made us reconsider eating at the restaurant all together. If it wasn’t for our server Kayla totally changing the mood we would’ve left. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She really turned the experience around for us.. Glad we stayed because the food was amazing, especially the flatbreads and dips!!! I would definitely recommend this place, but as someone with a background in HR, I’d suggest management implementing a customer service refresher for that particular individual, then I’m sure this would become a 5 star review. We will be back though next time we’re in town!
went for happy hour with coworkers, and just what a beautiful space! the drinks are so good! the staff is so nice! they do live music on thursday evenings, so definitely go! the food is all very good and there’s something on the menu for everyone!
Incredibly disappointed by this place, especially since it’s predecessor Americano was such a well loved good time. The maitre’d was inexplicably hostile to multiple people in my party, giving me a silent, cold glare the moment I walked in by myself and asked if I could go to the bar, yelling and wagging his finger at someone for moving a chair in a completely empty seating area. The bartender was super nice, but it was an astonishingly poor experience overall for such a prime location. The naked hostility of the maitre’d towards every customer was truly bizarre and set a bad tone for the entire evening. When we finally were able to get our hands on some food, it was disappointing. Rubbery cheese and supermarket salami on your average flatbread crust. I’d grudgingly come here for a happy hour on someone else’s expense account but I’d gently advise that they pick Perry’s or Prospect or any other place next time.
The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. Adam and Melanie made our night though. They are amazing bartenders!
