Story

Texas Pediatric Dentistry is the office of Dr. Tim Brister and Dr. Jodi Tenney. We are located on the McKinney-Frisco border, and we see patients ages 0-18. Children are our passion, and we are committed to giving them the best possible experiences at our office to help set them up for a lifetime of good oral health. We teach them everything they need to know to properly take care of their teeth, whether that's teaching a 5-year old how to brush better or a teenager how to floss their braces.

We are a full-service pediatric dental office, including routine cleaning and hygiene appointments, in-office operative and restorative work (such as fillings, crowns, and extractions) and in-hospital sedation at Children's Hospital in Plano.

We take most types of insurance, and we're open Monday through Friday and one Saturday per month. If you have questions or you would like to schedule an appointment, feel free to call us at 972-542-6662.

Our family is always greeted with a smiling face and a comfortable atmosphere. The waiting room is clean and has a cool playroom for the kids- and the fish tank is always the main attraction. Staff members are knowledgeable and friendly and truly care about creating a welcoming and safe experience for them. The dentists always take the time to talk with parents after the cleaning if you ask and scheduling is a breeze. The reminder texts for appointments are amazing! I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone with kids.

We just moved to the area from New Orleans and LOVED our first experience here! My kids had so much fun in the kid area and they were very comfortable with all of the staff. Very excited to have found them!

We have been bringing our children here for a few years now. We have never had a problem with any of the staff. Our kids are 10 and 12 and actually enjoy going for their cleanings and checkups. We have recommended TPD to anyone who asks for a pediatric dentist. We moved to Boston for a couple of years and when we came back to McKinney, they remembered us and welcomed us back with open arms.

This was my sons first real experience at the dentist and while he still doesn’t do the best with any dr visit, the staff was so helpful and kind to him when he didn’t love having his x-rays taken! They were also so helpful and thorough during the process of planning what to do for his broken tooth and going over billing with us! This is definitely my sons new dentist and my husband and I will probably start going to their offices as well!

Very kind staff, took all the time my extremely nervous son needed. Only do work that needs to be done and I feel they are honest with you. I am very pleased!
