There is absolutely no insulation between the walls in the motel rooms. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do or say!  The TV can be turned down & you can still hear it through the walls. Dogs are supposed to be on a leash & owners are supposed to pick up after their pet does his/her business. That sure didn't happen! Dogs ran around & we had to sidestep around the piles of poop. No disorderly conduct rule was a big joke. Many guests got drunk & very loud after the 10 pm curfew. Our room was very dirty and the heating /AC unit in the bedroom did not work. They were very unprofessional,  didn't seem to care about the guests just about making money. When I first contacted the establishment I asked for a cabin, was told a monthly price but when my husband checked in he was placed in a motel room & was told that I misunderstood what I was told even though I have text mssgs to prove I asked for a cabin. Don't get me wrong, the lake was picturesque but the bad experience trumped the scenery. Needless to say we checked out early.
