Story

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Eau Claire, WI is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

Being from Iowa, we don't have a Fridays here, and the nearest ones are 3 hours from me, so I knew when I was traveling that this would be a main stop. Everyone was so friendly from the hosts opening the door when we came and left with smiles, to our server, and the manager on duty who asked us how everything was. The chips and salsa are the best! All of our food came out looking and tasting wonderful! Will definitely be back here when I'm in the area again!

Couple friends went in for endless apps, our server Ben was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I would suggest going here to anyone because they truly care about their customers.

Excellent service! I ordered the salmon, and while it was cooking, it fell apart on the grill. The manager came out and informed me that they would be cooking up another filet and gave me free chips to snack on while I was waiting. Not only that, but when I got my bill, I was pleasantly surprised to see they had taken the cost of my drink off as well! They absolutely went above and beyond for me and I will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on Sat the 12th of Aug. We have eaten here before and always enjoyed the food. But Sat she ordered a salad and asked for the Gluten Free option, as she is Gluten Sensitive. The waiter did take the order noting a gluten allergy, but when we got our food, she noticed there were bread crumbs. We asked another person and she verified they were bread crumbs. Someone put crotons on and then tried to take them off. She had taken a couple of bites before noticing, if this had been someone who was siliac they would have been very sick. We were quite disappointed and will NOT be eating at this establishment again! I do not recommend this place.
