The drunken noodles from here are to die for. I’ve been to other Thai restaurants and none of them match to this restaurant! The staff members are very nice and accommodating, i love it here and truly recommend it. You can also ask them to either add more spice or make it less spicy. Hope to see them open soon!
After moving from NYC to this area, we struggled to find good Thai food. Thai Amarin is excellent, and it's now our go-to spot. We ordered for delivery and everything arrived quickly and accurately. We will surely be ordering from here again and look forward to the day we can dine in. :
Great restaurant. Clean and nicely decorated, food was really delicious - every dish we had was very flavorful. Super busy at lunch time so it might be hard to get a table, but crowd lightens at dinnertime. Its a great place to come for dinner because its not too crowded and can accomodate a large group if needed. Also, parking is plentiful and restaurant is handicap accessible.
Terrrible food. Ordered some Tom Yum, Chicken Pad Thai, and the curry puffs. The Tom Yum soup is disgraceful. Tastes like they just tossed in some Tom Yum base powder and mixed it with some mushrooms and 2 shrimp. No herbs, NOTHING other than 2 quartered mushrooms and 2 shrimp. Literally worse than packaged dried Tom Yum Soup. The Pad Thai is absolutely terrible. Instead of putting veggies, or anything decent or fresh, they just throw in a bunch of noodles, and some sauce. Again, the Pad Thai is worse than prepackaged. The curry puffs were not bad, the only thing maybe worth buying. Overall I can't see how they can morally stand to keep selling this kind of food.
Amazing place. Hands down the best Thai around. Great place, excellent staff! Love coming here with my husband, girlfriends and even the family. Bring your own and also take out! Food is so awesome
Very good Thai food! Not just your usual watered down, Americanized Pad Thai. You want flavor? These dishes will smack you in the face with flavor. They do some really interesting, authentic cooking here. Fair warning-- if you ask for spicy, they will make it spicy. Real spicy, not "oh-its-cool-I-enjoy-jalapeno-poppers" spicy. My boyfriend will fight you for the last bowl of Tom Yum. As for me--try the crispy pork-- it was freakin DELICIOUS.
I feel like 3 stars are generous. The Pad Thai was al dente which is fine if you prefer it that way. We don't. The flavor profiles of several dishes were lacking. Overly sour and bordering on pungent. Basically we've had much better Thai food elsewhere. Really good Thai food has a sophisticated flavor profile and is well balanced. We didn't get that here today nor the last time we were here.
I Ordered food, it was horrible to say the least. The steak in my pad thai was about to or had already gone bad. It made my entire living room smell like garbage. Absolutely disgusting-- I threw it all away in the garbage.
Unlike the typical Thai restaurants in the Boston area, Thai Amarin has more family style shareable dishes. The interior is more classy than the usuals My parents and I started off with 3 different types of soups also ranked - Tom Yum Goong, Wonton Soup, and Glass Noodle soup $4.50 each. I liked that the Glass Noodle soup has a lot of vegetables in it. The Wonton soup was more flavorful than the Glass Noodle soup, and the Tom Yum was obviously the most flavorful one. We also ordered the Gold Bags $6, which are deep fried bags of chopped chicken seasoned with onion, corn, carrot, peas and curry powder. Tasted like curry puff if you know what that is. It was served with sweet chili sauce. For the main dishes, we ordered the Hot Salmon Classic $17.95, Red Curry chicken $12.95, Seafood madness $16.95, Pineapple fried rice $11.50, and Vegetable Delight $11.50. We got extra hot and spicy for both the salmon, red curry and seafood madness. My favorite was probably the pineapple fried rice because I liked the sweet taste to it, and there were a lot of onions, which I love!! There were many different types of seafood, such as squid, mussels, oysters, and scallops in the Seafood Madness dish. Overall, I'd come back for a special occasion or if I'm feeling fancy Thai food. The food is similar to
Today was my first time ordering from here. I ordered delivery and tried the Goong Kra Bog and Woon Sen. The food was fresh, plentiful and absolutely delicious. I love it so much I searched for this site just to write a review Funny part is I have only written 3 including this review in my life.
