This place is hidden, bit was a great find. The staff was nice and was a pleasure to work with. The food was great and full of flavor with excellent presentation. The service was quick and timely. They didn't mess up an order but made it right. You can't go wrong here. Thanks for the great meal.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
This is my first visit here. The place was very nice in appearance. we were greeted at the door. We went to our table and waited for the final members of our party to arrive. When they did, we placed our orders. We ordered wife three appetizers: fresh rolls, chicken satay and steamed dumplings. I was not a fan of the fresh rolls. I have had spring rolls, and every one I had was made with noodles, lettuce, herbs and shrimp. It is a little hard to tell from the pictures, but the shrimp were rather small. The rolls were made completely of vegetables cabbage to be more specific, which made it harder to chew. The peanut sauce was different than I am used to, but wasn't bad. The chicken satay was flavored good, but the meat itself was a little tough and dry. My favorite of the appetizers was the steamed dumplings. The pastry was moist, and the meat was well flavored. I am wishing I ordered three dumplings. The soy dipping sauce was good and paired well with the dumplings. For our main entree, we ordered three dishes: Muy Thai Spare Ribs, Bangkok Wings and a bowl of Pho with beef. The spare ribs were good in flavor, but the meat was very tough and hard to pull off the bone. The meat was a bit chewy. The chicken wings were cooked pretty good. The sauce they used was very similar to sweet and sour sauce with a kick. The pho was good, but the broth was not so clean and had a bit of sweetness to it. Someone at our table ordered won ton soup, and the broth seemed to be the same. Most of the food we ordered seemed to have a level of sweetness to it. Although the food was good, it was not what I was the traditional flavors I was looking forward to. I did not get the thai basil or sliced peppers with the pho which was a little disappointing. The one thing that bothered me the most, was the soap in the bathroom. Why ANY restaurant would use scented soap, which will effect the smell of the food and interfere with the dining experience, is beyond me. There should be a rule that no scented soaps, or servers with cologne or perfume are allowed, because it detracts from the essence of the food. Why people go out to eat, and wear a bottle of scents will never make sense to me. I think they are all about making themselves feel good about being in a particular restaurant and not really there to enjoy great cooking.
Loved this place! I got pho w beef, calamari, crab Rangoon, and lo main with chicken. My siblings got the drunken noodles and weren’t satisfied. They’re drinks were flat. The place was clean and the servers worked fast. They have a patio you can sit outside on. I’ll be back but we will try different things next time. Thai Esane makes the best Thai food I’ve had in all of TN! We like to start with the fresh rolls and fried mixed veg. My go-to entree is the green curry noodle soup. It is packed with flavor, and the curry hits the perfect creamy-spicy balance. I want to try other dishes, but I can’t seem to stray from this favorite! My partner’s favorite is their pad thai, though he also enjoys both the drunken noodles and drunken fried rice. We’ve always received friendly service, and the team has easily answered questions about special dietary needs. Looking forward to returning soon!
Absolutely love this place. My husband went to Thailand a few years back so he always compares his food to the “authentic” Thai food. Let me tell you he said this was just like eating in Thailand. The papaya salad was amazing and he ordered it spicy and that’s what he got. Loved it! I ordered pad se ew which was also very delicious. Unfortunately I can’t remember what my husband ordered but I can say he cleaned his plate and thought it was fantastic. Great authentic Thai food and the service was also very attentive. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I regularly go here for date nights in Brentwood. It’s beautiful and clean, and the food is delicious and the staff friendly. They have plenty of amazing vegan options. They also have a lot of great gluten free options, but you have to stay on top of them, reiterate, and verify everything because some of the servers will say it’s gluten free when it isn’t. That’s been our only issue in all of our time going, which has happened a handful of times. Still good enough to return to, time and again, which is why it gets 5 stars from me!
Absolutely delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely will come back!Food: 5/5
Love Thai Esane, and even more now that they are closer to home for me! Beautiful restaurant with an easy free parking garage nextdoor. Wonderful food, we love the Chicken Larb, Esane Sausage, Pad Kra Pao, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Kao Soi, Chicken Noodle Soup, I could go on and on. Everything I’ve eaten at Thai Esane is yummy, and this new location has the same quality of food I’ve come to love from previous locations. My go-to for Thai!
I'm so glad there is a location so close to me now. Had my usual Tom yum soup, which was delicious. Also had the pad thai. It is at the newer shopping center in Brentwood with parking garage parking or street parking. And a lovely patio for outdoor dining on a nice day.
The staff was very nice. Especially the young lady. The noodles were undercooked on both orders. The onions tasted old. Was precooked, just warmed up. Was looking for special Thai food, was disappointed. Maybe I should have ordered something different. I got drunken and Malaysian noodles. I didn't have to wait long. I don't mind waiting for good food. Parking: Parked in garage, didn't mind this at all.
