Stopped by with a friend and had the Pad Kee Mao. I really loved the wide noodles and the sauce had an amazing flavor. My friend had the red curry and was pleasantly surprised by the creamy curry base. I didn't catch our server's name; however, they were super nice and so happy it made me happy. I highly recommend.
Thai Kitchen Cafe is the best Thai food I’ve had in Oklahoma City. I use Pad Thai and Curry as a litmus test to judge the quality of a Thai restaurant, and their Pad Thai and Massaman Curry are exceptional. For my entrées I ordered Pad Ginger, Massaman Curry and Pad Thai; all dishes were exceptional. The owners and my server were extremely friendly and welcoming. They decor of the restaurant is a little outdated, but the food is top-notch. If you enjoy Thai food I highly recommend this restaurant.
What a diamond in the rough! Please don’t let looks fool you. When you walk in everyone is very friendly and it’s like you’re walking into a friends house. Izzy greeted us and let us pick we’re we felt comfortable. He immediately brought us some water and let us look over the menu. I got a fried tofu appetizer. That came out almost immediately. My fiancé is not a fan of tofu so I had that to myself. For meals I got the pork Pad Thai spicy level 3 and my fiancé ordered the yellow curry with chicken spicy level 2. The food was delicious! Izzy was perfect. Constantly refilling our drinks and white rice as we needed it! The pad Thai was tasty. The yellow curry was my favorite. I guess I was craving curry. We shared our food and still took a little of everything to the hotel. We actually just finished the curry and white rice. And are saving the last bites of pad Thai for a quick snack on our cross country trip. If ever in Okc again we will definitely be visiting Izzy. All thumbs up here! Absolutely loved it
Best in town Restaurent if anyone craving Thai Food. Great Service Amazingly delicious freshly made food Good atmosphere Not very updated restaurant but who cares when food test is amazing. I order Ginger Beef medium spicy, it tasted delicious and fresh. Price were reasonable for main dishes but price of small bowl of soup was high at$6.99 for small bowl.
Super nice male waiter. Great Thai tea and Thai coffee. Two TVs to watch while eating. Die hard marathon was on and when the other people left he turned it up so we could hear it. Nice menu and decent prices. Really delicious yellow curry. Would go again.
Wow!!! We were so thrilled to have stopped here. Clean eating space, sweet people, and the food was incredible. If I ever get the chance to come back to OKC, this will be my first stop!
We went toward the end of lunch so we ordered off the menu. Lunch specials are only $10.99 and include a good portion of food. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The food is flavorful and fresh and full of veggies!! Can’t wait to go back and try the buffet!
There pad see ew is mushy, worst Thai restaurant I've had in OKC by a long shot.
This is a hidden gem in OKC, I can ESPECIALLY recommend the green curry, the pad Thai, and the cheese roll appetizers. I can’t say enough about how much we love the food, and the owner is always so friendly and cheerful that we love eating here!
My partner and I were doing a date day in Oklahoma City. We decided to try this Thai restaurant solely based on where it was located on the map and the type of food. The Thai restaurant in my city has been closed down so I have not been able to have Thai food for a good while. This is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. It's not terribly big and the building looks like it's old and has been renovated several different times. It's definitely very homey if you can tell that it's a small, local business. We ended up going at non-Buffet time so I have no idea what that's like there. We were given lunch menus and even when I asked if that was all they had I wasn't offered a dinner menu, even though I saw other people in the restaurant with the menu that was more expansive than what I was offered. There were only two options for Curry on there and I got the one that was not green. I would have liked a large a portion, the dinner size, as the lunch portion seemed a bit small and I was still hungry afterwards. The curry wasn't as flavorful as I've tried other restaurants but it wasn't bad. Their entrees come with the option of soup or spring rolls. I chose spring rolls and they were very on par with the fried spring roll that I've had at any other place. I think the food was just okay. I've had more flavorful Thai food other places so this is not a place that I would personally recommend. Other reviews seem to rave about the buffet so maybe we missed out on what they do best. I also found it very odd that they charged us $2 to omit onions from a dish when it was an allergy. I've never been to a restaurant that is charged for taking away a food item. That was really odd.
