"Opened in 1983, Tharp Animal Health Care Center, Inc. was founded by Dr. Thomas L. Tharp who had a vision to create a center for complete animal care. He felt Ross County and the surrounding area could benefit by providing veterinary services not only for companion pets but for the local farmers and large animal owners who also have a need for veterinary care. In 1984, Dr. Tharp purchased the Mt. Logan Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel, a 4000 sq. ft. facility that provided 40 indoor outdoor runs and also was the location for grooming for 26 years. After extensive remodeling and the addition of a Health Products Store located in the waiting room and with the renaming of the hospital to Tharp Animal Health Care Center."

Dr. Tharp and his team always do a great job with our Lola girl. Lola is terrified of anything going to the vet concerns, and Dr. Tharp’s staff are always able to do what needs to be done, all while trying to help Lola to calm down or to stay calm. They all care for Lola as if she were their own and I LOVE that!!

It was a sad time because both my new cats needed a lot of help. But the doctor and staff made it a lot better. Everyone made it a lot better by how much they cared and the doctor was willing to work with me to make everything happen that needed to. They knew what they were doing and showed a real concern for my pets. I'm very thankful to them.

My fur babies have always received top notch care. Grateful for Buffy's wonderful care yesterday. She's feel7ng much better already. Thank you!

I have been taking my puppy here since I first got her back in December. The front lobby staff, the vet techs and the drs are amazing and I feel they truly care about their animals. I recently moved over a hour and a half away, but will continue to use them as my vet, that is how much I trust them. My girl just got spayed this past week, and they did an amazing job with her and she is healing right up! I have also gone here for her grooming and the prices are reasonable and they did a great job on her cut. I will always recommend Tharp and will continue to keep them as my vet!

I take all my fur friends to Tharp Animal Care Center. They are always super nice and caring. The care I get from them is outstanding. My little ones have had a lot of issues and they are always on it. Wonderful pet care for our community!!!

I have been 100% pleased with my puppies care. Both times I had questions or a positive result Dr Tharp and Dr. Sebens called me directly. The staff has also been wonderful from check in to check out.

This was a wonderful experience. The vet techs, groomers and reception were sp pleasant. They did a wonderful job grooming my big boy, Onyx. He has been relaxes and happy since his grooming session. I am extremely pleased with this establishment. We will be back in the future!

The folks at Tharp are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and simply the best at taking care of your four legged family members. Their patients always come first which is the way it should be. I feel like my family is a part of theirs every time I’m there.

Our cat was neutered and she stayed overnight.  Our experience was great . Bruce had no problems while staying at  Tharp Animal Health Care Center over night , and when we picked her up she was in good spirits and purring .As you can see she is resting and her  incision looks great .  Thank You T.A.H .C. C.

We love Tharp Animal Health Care Center! Such understanding and compassionate employees. They always go above and beyond to help with our animals. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!
