Story

Fisherman’s Net was originally opened in 1984. New owners took over in Oct, 2015 and changed the name to The Anchor Flagler Beach, remodeling and improving the menu and dining experience. They use fresh, local produce whenever possible in all their menu items.

My family and I just left the Anchor. We stopped there hoping for some good seafood, unfortunately it fell very short. First off the host or whomever Sat us was extremely unfriendly and rude, our waitress was also not very nice and not friendly either so that immediately turned us off but we still decided to give the place a chance. I ordered the shrimp potato and salad. My husband ordered the tuna poke. Well the shrimp and potato and salad were all very bland and just not good quality for the $15 they wanted for it. My husband's tuna was not what it was supposed to be. I asked for a manager and the kitchen manager cams out and apologized and told us he didn't see that Tuna come out the way it did. He was very polite, professional and friendly which we really appreciated. He did not make us pay for the food.

Excellent service and fantastic food! Price rage is good. When the food takes a while to get out you know that they have a real chef. Everything is fresh made from scratch, nothing sitting under hot lamps. We bought the duck confit flat bread, French dip and the Anchor burger. We ate everything! If we are going to be in that area we will go back.

Good bar used by locals....great happy hour and right across from the beach. Sunday Funday $3.50 Bloody Mary!
