Long wait for food. I arrived with three others on Mon Aug 28 just before noon. There was one table of three customers already seated, a table of four that arrived just before us, and a table of five who arrived right after us. Each table got their food 15-20 minutes after the previous. It became apparent the cook prepares one table's order at a time before preparing the next. The customers who were already seated got their food around 12:05, those who arrived just before us got their food around 12:25, we got our food at 12:40, and the customers who walked in the door behind us got theirs at 1. The food, price, and service were decent but the wait was too long.

The lady name Starr is amazing. She has exceptional customer service and always makes my day when I visit this restaurant.

A friend and I had lunch here on Wednesday- excellent food- portions are nice size- and had the left -overs for dinner. Our wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. It is also completely accessible for all. Will definitely come here for lunch again and probably try a dinner in the near future!

I love this place...it's a historic building turned grill/brew building... seriously underrated atmosphere. The wait is next to none...shall I continue??? Awesome local beers(could use a slight sprusing up too tho) and one of the coolest chefs I know. Stop by and enjoy with an open mind. I had a pint of Deschutes, and a grilled sheese samich with a side salad...very basic VERY DELICIOUS...No dressing tho. I did use some olive oil lemon salt&pepah, the staff added the love. Come one or come some, but not all( y'all gonna finish up this food) and enjoy this lil hiden gem called The Appleton Grill

The food was decent. Parking terrible. We went on a Saturday morning about 10:45 there was no other patrons the entire time we were there. When we walked in we, and the postman, had to wait around shouting "anybody here? Hello?" for as several minutes before the waitress wandered out from somewhere. The women's bathroom was filthy. Overflowing wastebaskets, paper toilet seat covers and TP and everywhere on the floor(literally piles of paper) and 3 of the 5 stalls were out of paper. Considering how slow the waitress moved (molasses in January comes to mind) and the lack of restaurant patrons on prime Saturday brunch time that bathroom had not been cleaned in weeks (!) We come to the area about once a year for a mini vacay. I seriously doubt this place will be open next year. Honestly, we wouldn't be back even if it was. Totally not impressed.
