My husband and I stopped at the Ark restaurant on our way to Champaign, from Chicago, today, and we ordered the fried catfish with green beans, mashed potatoes, and corn muffin as sides. That was the BEST FRIED FISH I'VE EVER HAD! The owners are very affable, and have a passion for cooking. The ambience is relaxed, and friendly, and would make you feel right at home! We enjoyed eating there very much, and had a good time chatting up with them. If you are passing by the area, you should check the place out! I highly recommend this place for a great 'soul food' experience!

The fish was awesome and the peach could beer had me and my husband fighting for the bowl. We would definitely come back again. And the staff was lovely.
