They have a hard time keeping qualified teachers when I was there. The writing teachers were good but I was there when the. Campus was very new. Went less than a year and have major loans now. They will stop at nothing to get you on those loans! Go to Tarrant county college!!!

To start, this school is owned by a bank so their major focus is enrollment. I told them I want to learn film and motion graphics. They told me they will craft my program to suit my career path. 2 years in, I hadn't taken one class that lead towards my end goal. When I finally got my first video editing class the instructor (who was also my program director) decided to teach video and audio editing in After Effects which makes absolutely no sense. 5 weeks into the semester, my teacher and program director got a new job elsewhere and left. They replaced the teacher and for the last 5 weeks we were taught in Premier Pro (the right program for the job). After that quarter, on the summer break, the last animation teacher resigned, resolving the media arts and animation program and they sent the students to Dallas campus. Since they stopped recruiting students, the schools infrastructure fell apart. Credits don't transfer and they don't care what so ever. If you are not in a major city like Miami, Ny or California, don't bother.

Don't do it people. Yes, I know the sales team are great at what they do. Go to Tarrant County College instead, then transfer to a four-year university. Don't be seduced by this school or their B.S. website, or their commercials. It's a joke. A joke I tell you. You will learn very little here, it's a diploma mill, and they charge about 90% more money for less training than you'd get at Tarrant County College. This is just a place for kids to feel like they are getting an education, but they aren't. But what you will get is a huge student loan, or tuition bill. The classes are jokes. If you want a cheap education that's worth, go get your bartending diploma instead and don't get yourself into the financial and academic quicksand of the so-called "Art Institute." There should be Congressional legislation to protect young people from falling for this. They prey on the vulnerable.
