We feature original fine art and craft by top artists of the region.

Story

The Art Spirit Gallery in downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho promotes regional arts and culture, actively developing community awareness and participation in the arts. On the 2nd Friday of each month, the gallery opens a new show of original work by top artists from our region. Opening Receptions and Downtown ArtWalks are enjoyable community events with opportunities to view the art, meet the artists and socialize with friends and neighbors. Featured artists regularly give demonstrations and talks on Saturday following the openings. Everyone is welcome.

Our current inventory includes over 1,200 original works of art by over 60 artists.

Thank you! It's not every day you walk into a gallery that is not only ok with but actually excited to see that you have a little one in tow. I enjoyed the pieces and they even piqued my daughter’s interest.

This is one of my favorite galleries in downtown Coeur d'Alene. The featured artist(s) changes every month so there is always something new and exciting to experience. What you won't find there are unfriendly staff. Everyone is willing to answer any of your questions.

I always enjoy the shows here. Someday I hope to buy a piece of art. They offer a layaway plan which is a great way to make art buying accessible to everyone.

The curator took time to tell us, in detail, about the artists we were curious about. She meticulously answered my boyfriend's questions and suggested we tour the basement as well. An unforgettable experience that made my day.

The owner was so wonderful.  Very inviting we went camping and didn't look rich.  But he took the most time talking to my boyfriend and I.  He talked about the various artists and showed us the pieces in the basement and art education about a friend of his who has done the most art in the northwest. So much passion from this gentleman.  We spent a great 1 hour talking on 4th of July so there were a lot of people he didn't have too.  I asked how he made the walls look like there are no holes in the walls from having so many over 13 years.  He said * If you are looking at the holes the artists must not be so good*  the artists he has displayed are of renowned skill level.  No crappy artists. All visually titilating.  This is a must have art gallery different from all the other snotty pretentious places I have ever seen.
