*extremely late post* Now, I don't usually give out 5 stars but since this was probably the best salmon I've ever tasted, it requires a very rating. Everything was top-notch. Oysters, Caesar salad, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all great. My lady wasn't a fan of her steak but she didn't order what she really wanted. She didn't want that skirt steak lol. Still gets 5 stars from me. Very likely to be my favorite restaurant now. I will have to visit again in order to confirm. Therefore, we will be back!
Impeccable service, intimate booths, well stocked bar, and approachable feel. Our waiter made me feel like we were old friends, he was accommodating and helpful with selections. They have a well stocked bar and I had an excellent manhattan and even a vesper. The wedge had some of the best blue cheese dressing I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share of wedges. The burger was delicious and the sesame bun was perfect. It felt super cozy and inviting!
My boyfriend and I came here for our 1 year anniversary, the service and food was phenomenal. We got the green beans appetizer, warning red pepper flakes, slightly spicy. The Beef Tagliatelle melted in your mouth and was so filling. Lastly, they treated us to creme brule for dessert. We left extremely full and happy!
Their happy hour was brilliant serving with various appetizers, oysters, and steak bites. The deviled eggs tasted legit. The oyster melted immediately it was sent into my mouth. I could even not feel it. The steak was tender. I love their free bread the most, warm and delicious with cream. Anyway, the servers were amazing, always with big smiles. WiFi was fast. The place was decent and decorated well. Vegetarian options: salads
The steak was cooked perfectly to my temperature. The Caesar salad with the anchovies was excellent as the anchovies had just a hint of fresh lemon. That brought the salad to a new level. Kelly my barkeep was willing to chat and was attentive. The restaurant was loud but it was 7:30 on a Friday night. I’ll definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Another incredible evening at The Avenue celebrating with the birthday trifecta … best friends, best table, and best server!! The Yusef legend continues to grow! Such a rare treat to be taken care of by Yusef … he knows the menu inside and out … anticipates your every need … and his personality and positivity is infectious to all!!Food: 5/5
We went there with our families to celebrate our wedding. The food there was phenomenal- it was expensive but the food was worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful even for a larger party like ours. It has genuinely been a long time since I've had food that good. If you plan on going, expect a sizable bill but go in knowing it's going to be incredible. Will definitely go back to celebrate another special day. Something to note, parking in the area fills up fast so be prepared to have to find street parking or pay with an app on your phone for public parking.
Great food and customer service. Definitely make reservations. Menu was simple and easy to read. Price decent. Bread was good. The chicken was absolutely delicious. So glad I decided to go for it. I even tried the 'Tavern Salad' and as a non salad person this salad was probably the best I've had. Everyone really enjoyed their meals at the table. The wine was good as well. My only qualm is that you have to pay for parking in the back and it's a bit awkward getting around. I will definitely be back to try other items in the menu.
Reserve a table or get full dinner service at the bar. Great window seating and patio. "Classic" steakhouse-style dining room. This is a modern rendition of a 1950s retro restaurant. Great steaks and solid wine list. You will not go hungry and you will not go thirsty! Bar service is a great choice for enjoying the crowd. Walk in for dinner at the bar on a busy Friday night and received immediate and excellent service. Been to The Avenue multiple times and enjoyed meals in the dining room. The high quality, fresh food and drinks are consistently well prepared, balanced and full of flavor. The avocado crab salad and oysters are my go-to! Ambiance is contemporary yet classic and comfortable. Nestled in Grandview, it’s a bubbly spot within walking distance to local shopping, experiences and dining.
