You can reach the Back Porch Grill by Boat or Car. We are located in the Clear Creek Harbor at Logan Martin. Not only are we a wonderful Restaurant we also have, Gas Attendants on the Dock to pump and dock your boats. We have a large variety of Grocery items for those who are in the camping area. Please come and join us for a wonderful dinner and fellowship this summer.

Located far out in the country. Very unclean inside. Needs deep cleaning to appeal to customers that aren't locals or fishermen. Prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of food served. Food isn't seasoned. They're nice people, but please clean the dead insects off your windows inside and outside, tables, and clean off the patio outside. Has potential.

This is the best catfish in the Birmingham area. I'd like to know where the folks eat that don't like this place. We travel from Chelsea as often as we can to eat here. We used to have a "neighbor search" for the catfish restaurants. I can give you a long list of the good ones and the bad ones. The Back Porch is at the top of the good list. Too many good ones have closed. See Finchers in Talladega and other locations. Others have declined for some reason. See the Top of the River in Anniston. The Top of the River in Gadsden is still o.k.

I've had better and I've had worse. The view was great so at least there is that. The catfish was pretty good. Unfortunately they had run out of hush puppies...not sure how that's happens. The oyster po'boy was a hit with my wife. We'll probably go back sometime and I'll try something different. Until then I'll leave this at 3 stars.

I have eaten here many times, good catfish and love to eat on the deck under the willow beside the lake.

Great food. People are very friendly. Service was top notch. Even the marina, Clear Creek is very nice and clean.
