The Bakery is a co-working space and entrepreneurial development center that has its home in a one-hundred year old building that used to be a bakery. I'm so glad I became a member as soon as I did– it's been a wonderful place to get things done and learn new skills. You'll meet some of the neatest, most generous, most proactive people in Sioux Falls here– not just meet them, but work alongside them and get to know them. Other great things about The Bakery include the coffee, the potlucks, the workshops, the art, the conversations, and the owners.

I have been a Bakery member since it first opened. Actually I knew the owners Clint & Brian for years before the official opening, so I was sold on the idea before construction even began, and I signed up in January 2015, long before the June 2015 official opening. The Bakery has done more for me in the last year than ANY other form of networking and socializing ever has before for me in such a short amount of time. The classes offered, events to go to, the ambience of working outside the office versus a coffee shop, and the social camaraderie at The Bakery are incredibly helpful to me in my personal and business growth. I am proud to be a member of The Bakery. Member #1

Dedicated to "Making Sioux Falls a better place to make a living doing what you love." It isn't the building; it's the people in the building that make it a place.

What I love about The Bakery the most is the sense of community. It sounds so cliche but its so true. Anytime we were making a presentation at a Rotary Club, meeting with organizations for volunteer projects or making an announcement at a Bible Study as soon as we mentioned that we were Bakery members we learned about other Bakery members and felt immediately connected. Brian and Clint created an atmosphere that allows you to meet as many people as possible either by introducing you personally, providing opportunities through classes, workshops or connecting you through the private facebook page. I was a Bakery member for a little over a month while I was in town and I can honestly admit that I already miss being in an environment of people who are passionate about growing new businesses and passionate about finding necessities within the community. I highly recommend taking advantage of the many classes offered here. It's so fun to bounce ideas off each other and see how peoples natural talents become a purpose and necessity for this city. Stop by for a tour or for FREE lunch on Fridays. I love The Bakery!
