My husband and I signed a contract with the Barn of Chapel Hill when it was still under construction, and our faith in the vision of owner and florist team Kara and Jenn did not disappoint! The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful farm tables and stylish chairs made available to us, along with lawn games, and a gorgeous stocked bridal party loft room to get ready in. The florals were more beautiful than we could ever have imagined, and Jenn provided us with more than we had even asked for during initial consultations. This team was responsive, friendly and have created the outdoor and indoor venue of our dreams. We highly recommend it!

Amazing venue. I feel so fortunate to have had my wedding at the Barn of Chapel Hill. We booked the venue before it was even built so put a lot of faith in Kara and Jen that everything would work out the way they promised. As another reviewer mentioned, there were a couple bumps along the way, but that's honestly to be expected for being the third wedding at a new venue! Especially for the price, the venue still ended up being an absolute steal. 

The bridal suite is beautiful and had perfect lighting for my hair/makeup stylist, as well as great lighting for the photographers/videographers (the "getting ready" pictures are some of my favorites!). The setup is absolutely perfect-- I was really hesitant to have an outdoor wedding, but I loved the Barn of Chapel Hill. I knew that (worst case) if it rained, we could move the wedding inside and have just as beautiful of a ceremony. The barn was spacious for lots of dancing, eating, and hanging out. Guests loved playing lawn games and socializing on the patio area, and the inside of the barn was perfect for the dinner/dancing portion of the reception.

Coming into the wedding, I didn't want to think about flowers at all. I really didn't think I cared, and I thought someone else could figure out that portion of the wedding. However, I absolutely loved working with Jen. I sent her a couple pictures of what I liked and she instantly ran with it. She obviously knew way more about flowers than me, so she would send other pictures/ideas and help me think through my vision. I went from not caring at all about the florals to being really excited because I loved what Jen was doing. When I saw pictures I really liked but didn't think it would be possible to do at my wedding, she assured me she could do it, which was so cool to me. The flowers ended up being gorgeous and really making the wedding. If you're thinking about having your wedding at the barn, you should absolutely hire Jen. It is also so much easier to have her there since she is really familiar with the barn, and it saved me time and stress from having to deal with an outside florist.

I honestly had no clue what I was getting into when I booked my wedding at the Barn of Chapel Hill. It was a huge risk (only because it wasn't built yet!) but completely worth it. For any future bride, it would only be easier since you can now see the barn and easily picture how you would want to plan the wedding. It's an incredible space, and Kara and Jen are both so accommodating and helpful throughout the process. I couldn't imagine having had my wedding anywhere else-- I'm so thankful!

We were the second wedding to take place at The Barn of Chapel Hill. We had a few minor bumps, but that was to be  expected as it was just finishing construction. Kara, the owner, was very sweet and accommodating. She is very involved in the whole process, which gives you piece of mind. Regardless of any bumps, this place is absolutely beautiful. The barn is AMAZING. We wanted a "barn", but without the dirt floor and WITH air conditioning! The lighting (especially the chandilers), tables, chairs, bridal suite...everything is just exquisite. The veranda was beautiful with market lights hung all around the the outdoor patio where we got married was gorgeous. The large wooden doors at the front of the barn made for a dramatic, beautiful entrance.  And the flowers...no words. They were breathtaking. I had a vision and Jen (she does flowers at the barn) delivered exactly what I had in my head, but WAY better. She is a genius.  If you have another flower vendor in mind, erase them...go with Jen. Trust me. Overall we are VERY happy that we had our wedding here. We have some amazing memories and pictures that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend The Barn of Chapel Hill.
