Apprehensive at first due to mixed reviews online and from colleagues. Was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent overall. Execution was great, seasoning was almost there (steaks and fish needed more salt) but the veggies were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mushrooms had some sweetness to it, possibly a balsamic glaze (not my favorite)but that is my personal taste. Cocktail sauce was not what I expected...it was better! The only let down was the stale chocolate cake (server admitted that it is a purchased product) and for $17, they could have put some more love in the fruit plate. Will definately be back. Much better than some of the other "best steak houses on long island", which were really disappointing. I must say that going on a weekend night or a holiday like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, where the staff is typically overwhelmed and just going through the motions to get the food out, is not the best time to be critical. Very few restaurants can hold their own in those chaotic crunches. I chose Thursday; the product is likely just arrived for the weekend nice and fresh (except for the aged steaks of course) and the staff is alert and ready. If you're going to review a restaurant, give them a fair opportunuty to serve you properly, and you will likely be satisfied.

Over priced and inconsistent. Sometimes the meals are quite good and at others it truly misses the mark. Burgers are too expensive to come to the table not cooked to the customer's request.

Went there tonight. would give neg. stars if I could. 8:00 reservation and was seated at 9:15. At 11:00pm got up and left the restaurant because we were told at 10:30 the food was being plated and never arrived. Beware they don't care about how many reservations they make and their customers. There are so many more restaurants in the area to go to so don't bother with this one!!

A cozy and trendy spot with a slight New York City feeling right in Mineola. The best grilled octopus I've ever had! Drinks are a little pricey but the food is delicious. Definitely recommended.
