This was my first trip of this kind and it couldn't have been a better experience. The accommodations are absolutely first rate: Comfortable beds, great common areas to hang out in, plenty of things to do during downtime (movie theater, shuffleboard, pool,  huge tvs, etc.) - if there weren't so much to see and do outside, you could certainly keep yourself entertained in the lodge if you were so inclined.  The land it sits on is stunningly beautiful and even if you came back 100 times, I don't think you could see it all.  As others have mentioned, Bob is knowledgeable and hilarious with a quick wit.  You'll never be bored around him.  I was surprised by the variety of wildlife we came across during the various trips: Ducks, boar, deer, doves, vultures, etc.  I can't wait to go back!

Bigwoods is a fantastic place.  Dr. Bob and the staff treated us like royalty. Pig shooting could have been a little better but you can't control the weather.  Can't wait to go back.
