Story

The Black Sheep Pub and Eating house is located in the former Bennigan’s building, located at 890 S. Atlantic Avenue in Ormond Beach. Taking a nod from the pubs back home, or the “local" as we like to call them, we have created a comfortable environment that offers a place to relax, meet up with friends & family, share news, and be entertained. You’ll find good tasting food and drink at a great price, offered up with service that will make you smile and continue to come back again and again…

We offer traditional British-Irish fare, classic American dishes, and daily specials alongside a first rate drink selection. There’s plenty of seating both inside and out, and we look forward to you stopping in for a bite to eat, and a drink with friends. We like to think we have some of the best food and drinks around, but we’ll let you be the judge of that!

Fun and very local English-style pub. Good beer selection. Lively scene of regulars and tourists at the large bar. Live team trivia on Wednesday nights draw a big local crowd. One star off for limited healthy items on the menu and sometimes inconsistent table service. But this is fun neighborhood place, highly recommended.

We decided to come here because Riptides was full. We are so glad we did! Delicious meal and nice assortment of beverages. My husband enjoyed the bangers and mash and I had succulent grilled shrimp. Try the Guinness with root beer. Sounds strange but, very good. Service was excellent and prompt. We will be back!!

Been there a couple times - ambiance is about what's expected of a pub/eatery, nice appointments, and pretty full of tourists. Service was good. Only real beef was with the chips portion of the "World Famous" fish and; they were the kind of dull frozen fries you get in a 25-pound bag from the Sysco truck - just plain old *fries*, with very little salt and much less flavor. Fish was great, quite crisp and flavorful. Do something with those "chips," folks, and maybe they'll rate the tag...

After a very long day was looking forward to some awesome food. I specifically asked if the chicken alfrado was spicy was told no so 3 people got it. It was so spicy no one could eat the chicken. The service was so slow. ( They were not that busy) took almost 20 minutes to even get drinks. Got the bill they refused to take anything off from it. Total was $109 needless to say no tip was left. The waiter didn't seem to care about our table or the fact the chicken was extremely spicy. I will never go there again

Ended up here because of Riptides and Charlie Horse being full. Good choice though as the atmosphere and food was fantastic. Only knock is the waitress we had wasn't very attentive. We got our app before we even got drinks. The table next to us, their waiter was on the money coming by and checking in with them and engaging them.
