Good for watching sports, playing pool, and having a beer. The mixed drinks are over-priced for the area, but it has convenient parking and is easy walking distance to lots of great food places.
Great kareoke, live music, dance music... Guinness! A lot of fun for the university student's. Excellent location, no cover charge, nice staff. Definitely a hot spot in Lowell! People love to dance and playpool there a lot... Good time, all the time :
Bar tenders do their job well great staff, Your security a bunch of brainless thumbs.
My friends have a yearly tour drag queen show was spectacular had a great time and the foods good definitely recommend Blue Shamrock for a good time out gootfois and tasty margaritas.
Very nice place! You can play some pool, watch some sports even outside if you wish, and play some arcade games all while you drink. The prices are fair as well. Quick service depending on the volume of customers. The downside of this place, during my visit there were more men than women.
Reminds me of Libby's up in Durham, NH. Didn't see the dance area, just hung at the bar and played a few rounds of their hoops game. The bar was cash only but they have an ATM just a few feet away.
Amanda is an amazing bartender for sure. You can find her there on the weekends and weeknights also which i tend to like better because she makes the best drinks I've had there so far so be sure to ask for amanda to make them if you want a great drink. Unfortunately for a bar that closes at 2am, 1:30 is a little early to be telling people to hurry up and finish to leave meanwhile the staff/ owners, and friends of thiers are still able to stay and enjoy new drinks after last call which i get, i do but come on being the last person there just trying to finish a drink and game of pool i just paid for is a little disappointing especially where i tip at least 4-5$ each drink and each drink is more than 10$ a piece i mean see your good customers while you have them even if they are not there all the time. I pick up after myself and even others before i go and always have the greatest respect for all the staff there. The bouncers are great and hold down the fort well, and most of the DJs will be happy to take and fulfill a song request if asked.
Service is kinda slow. Seems like the bartenders are more interested in their phones than the customers. Also, one of our party asks for a Mia Tia. Was told they don't have the ingredients. U got a full bar here. If you don't know how to make one, just Google it.. Parking is easy with a parking garage right next door.
I went there for a drag show for my birthday....the show was AMAZING. However the bar upstairs was not properly stocked so I had to go downstairs to get the drink I wanted. Upon trying to return upstairs, I was not allowed back up, when all my belongings and friends were still there. The bouncer was EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY rude and I will NEVER EVER return.
I've been there a few times, mostly for a quick beer. Hard to go wrong, right? Last time I stopped in there were a handful of people at the bar. Two bartenders. One bartender said hello and then turned her back. The other one never even looked up from her phone or whatever she was holding. They both then started talking to a manager, or owner,. I caught the eye of the bartender and signaled that I'd like a beer. She stared at me and then kept talking to this guy owner or whoever. I finally look at the time. I waited ten more minutes with the other folks at the bar saying "you've got to be kidding me" about the horrible service. I walked out. Won't be back.
