Hubby and I heard about this Cafe today and had to try it. We really enjoyed the band. The catfish, corn bread, collard greens and sweet potatoes were really good!  The staff was friendly and helpful!  We will definitely be back!

Finally downtown Edmond  has a  wonderful soul food spot.  The blues & jazz cafe  is located at 9 S Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034 or click their name above for  more info. They have a jazz  jukebox music. They also have a stage  for  live music. I ordered the catfish and shrimp.  You get  two pieces of real catfish w/ collard greens I added 2 sides the yams and mac n chesse. All the sides slap. They  give you a lot of  food.  The side cups are deep! The shrimp was my least favorite bc I  prefer grilled shimp. It wasn't bad . Everything else slap! 99% of the  menu is fried! Just  fyi. No grilled options at the present time.

Our first time eating there and it was an excellent experience! The staff were friendly and courteous, food was fantastic! We haven’t eaten a home cooked meal like that in quite a while! The icing on the cake was the live jazz music, he had a smooth voice and played a mean trombone! Encourage everyone to try this place, very cool !

Awesome soul food. Okra, Mac n Cheese, fried Okra, jalapeño corn bread, fried chicken, ribs, and fresh peach cobbler. All made by Tanya Brown. Best homemade soul food I’ve had in a minute.

We decided to get The Blues and Jazz Cafe to go  this evening since we are staying late at work. I have eaten there before and it was amazing but tonight deserves a standing ovation. The fried zucchini, mac and cheese, wings, catfish, cornbread, cheesecake and banana pudding are to die for. And no I did not eat this all myself. We all shared.   If you want home cooking this is your place. I also recommend staying and listening to the live music. AMAZING!

Everything was excellent..... got the catfish/shrimp dinner with green beans and yams wife got the collards.  Lot of food!!  Ate it too fast too get pics.   Will definitely be back  Edit, forgot I got the peach cobbler...... whew!!  It was good!!

Food was good, very slow bringing out food,  they ran out if macaroni and cheese.  Band is to loud for such a small space. From 1-10, I give it a 6.5. Will try again sure hope they get better. And my margarita had too much ice, barely had drink in it.

The food was amazing! I like the fact that the food was cooked fresh so everything was hot and on point!  Also the food is well seasoned!
