We enjoy the Boathouse. It's fun, informal, and great atmosphere on the water. Small menu but excellent food & beer. A fun place to eat after a day on Hayden Lake.

It was a very pleasant visit due to the location and the food. I do have to comment though,  that the service- personal had no "Gastronomic Training" nor were they given any guidelines  how to positively engage in a customer - business relationship in order to create an outstanding experience for the guest.
This is the sole responsibility of the owner or management,  and of course only if they care and therefore no fault to any of the young ladies that were serving the tables.  It is an absolute shame that many of the restaurants in the US are plaqued with this very same issue. Such easy problems to solve and so little heart to make a difference and be not part of the "Norm".

Love it, the fish and chicken tacos are amazing, along with chips and salsa they come with. The staff was awesome and on point with everything, full drink cups always never had to ask for a refill. Seated,and greeted by all staff  right away. Also, dirty plates,baskets were cleared from the table right away. All this greatness and the view of the lake, totally worth a visit.😃

The Boathouse is our most favorite restaurant in Hayden. It is right on Hayden Lake. The food is delicious and it has a fun lakeside bar. Gabe the manager always treats us right and is always a pleasure  to see.

Delicious fish and chips, and the most tasty huckleberry cider by Edge Brewery!  Will definitely return!
