We discovered this charming, well stocked, used bookstore in historic building in downtown Wickford, RI. We stop at used bookstores on our trips and this one did not disappoint. The owner was educated and lovely. The shop also offered a selection of antiques and collectibles but placed in a fashion that did not overpower. We found during one of our visits that John Updike had used Wickford as his inspiration for the novel "The Witches of Eastwick" - we make time to walk the downtown area which is full of wonderful homes from the 1700's. We have made this bookstore a destination on our trips to Newport, RI.
