The Bookstore at The University of Montana is a local not-for-profit bookstore serving the students, faculty and staff of The University of Montana. Our primary goal is to ensure students are able to obtain the course materials they need at reasonable prices. We also provide many other items to support your academic career and school spirit. The place has gone downhill over the years. Used to be a great place to buy gifts. Now it is pretty much all grizzly apparel. The  rap playing over the speaker the last half a dozen times I've gone in melts my brain

I wish I could put 0 stars. I am a distance student at UM and for two semesters I tried to order my books directly from the bookstore. Both shipments took over a week just to process and both times they were mysteriously not shipped (even though I selected and paid for rush shipping in the first case) and resulted in me not having my books until 2 weeks after classes had started. I will not be ordering from them again and I would suggest if you would like your textbooks in any amount of reasonable time you steer clear of this  bookstore.

Buy back instructions were not clear. I called ahead to ask if mine was available for the buy back and that it was in a binder to keep together. The woman on the other line said "sure bring it in". When I arrived, the lady immedatly said "no loose leaf". 

PLEASE FIX THIS! IT IS FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING FOR CUSTOMERS. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Out of stock for far too many required textbooks. With no effort to restock since the semester started.

Some great prices on art supplies while others were a bit expensive, and a nice little selection of books from fact and fiction down stairs.
