Story

I am a Statesboro native and second generation lawyer, with deep connection to Statesboro and surrounding communities. I am diligent, aggressive, honest, hard working, and abiding to my clients. Having exclusively handled Criminal Law for over a decade, I know the courts, the law, procedures, and judges very well. I have tried over 80 felony jury trials in superior court, hundreds of cases in state court, and practice in federal court also. My trial excellence is put to work in all types of cases, especially Criminal, Divorce, Child Custody, and property disputes among divorcing couples. I handle any type of Family Law case, but two that I've developed great skill in are Adoptions and Legitimation actions. I am skilled at helping clients navigate the Probate court system of system of filing the Will and petitions to probate and administer the estate. I am also honored to represent two cities near Statesboro and help with the with the municipal and local law matters that may arise.

Great Lawyer, he did his job. He communicated with me and he has a great assistant Julie, who kept me updated with all my court information. He listened to everything I had to say, told me what he was going to do for me, and has a great relationship with the judges and is well known in the court room. I would highly recommend using Scott Brannon as your attorney in any case you may encounter.Overall great experience and the best lawyer in the Statesboro/Savannah area.

I was very disappointed in the performance Mr. Brannen portrayed in court. The incident requiring a lawyer was closely a year ago and the communication between client and lawyer was scarce and uninformative. I understand that this man is very busy, but he should still be responsible enough to keep appointments, and not be late for court summons. No communication was offered in relation to the agreement that had already been discussed with the ADA/DA until moments before our standing before the judge. None of the precautionary advise Mr. Brannen offered was considered nor did he present them to the judge. Requirements the judge implemented had already been completed and Mr. Brannen done nothing to represent good behaviour prior to and after the incident. I do not consider this man to be a good representative and strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a good lawyer. I only wish I had looked further and found one of the other lawyers that actually arrived on time and actually tried to negotiate. (Unlike the gentleman that simply stood next to me and said nothing.) Unfortunately, now it is too late and we will never know if an ACTUAL representation could have helped in this incident. I strongly suggest that if you are in search of a lawyer, please do yourself a huge favor, and look elsewhere.

Mr. Brannen went above and beyond for our Son. From the first appointment to the last court hearing he was absolutely FANTASTIC.  We are not from Georgia so we had to do everything over phone, fax and email. Since we are not from around their we had no idea about the attorneys. Talking to Scott I remember the first time we met with him I was crying in his office due to my Son. He is very caring and compassionate and really treats his cases like he would if it were his Family. We will FOREVER be greatful. As for the staff they are FANTASTIC as well. If you need a attorney I highly recommend Scott Brannen. God Bless you Scott Brannen and Staff.

Mr. Brannen was able to get my case dismissed and this was with a prior!! Scott is the man. His manager/parallegal is such a sweetie too. They make you feel comfortable form the time you set foot in the door. Thank you!

Scott helped my cousin out when he got in trouble visiting here. He took care of the charge and got it dismissed. He also allowed my cousin a student discount even tho he from out of town. Definately would use again.
