The Buck Stops Here is a fresh meat and seafood market and deli located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. When you come into our store, you will enjoy the world’s finest meat and seafood, accompanied by unsurpassed service. Our goal is to make our city a tastier place. The Smokehouse Club is our #1 selling sandwich. Our variety of FRESH SEAFOOD changes each week, so you’ll always get a fresh, top-quality product. We’ve been voted the best sandwiches in town! Our store also carries aged choice and prime Angus beef, fresh fish such as organic Scottish salmon, tuna, South Pacific fish, and Alaskan Fish.

We also carry elk and buffalo meat in steaks, jerky, and summer sausage. Free range chicken and premium pork are other delicious options.

The Buck Stops Here has a consistent menu of delicious meat, seafood and deli favorites, along with specials that change daily and rotate frequently.
You can dine in or carry out. Our unique dining experience features "PICK FROM THE CASE" style. You have the option of ordering dinner off of our menu or you can walk right up to the meat or seafood case and we will cook whatever you pick!! People love this!

We also have packaged items in the store including frozen lamb veal, chips, Tasty Kakes, frozen fish, lasagna, meatloaf and other prepared meals.

At the counter, you’ll find wrapped sandwiches and pastries. We also have Ribeyes, and other steaks, shrimp, fish, and chicken. Popular specials include Stuffed Trout, Seared Ahi, Brisket Sandwich, and Tri-Tip Hoagie. We also have a hot and cold deli, grill, salad, and sides menu.
