Of course I would find this place while on a diet! Oh, dear lord- everything was great! The cake pops were very good- recommend the strawberry, yellow cake batter and carrot cake. The cupcakes were good- I had a strawberry, hubby had a red velvet. Very good- great taste, not expensive at all ($2 for a cupcake is a DEAL from a bakery- other cupcake places charge at least double that!).

Cake Dreams graciously saved my friends' daughter's wedding!  The cake that was previously ordered arrived in shambles!  Cake Dreams could not repair the ruined cake that was brought to the their store after hours. They worked over night during a holiday weekend and delivered a beautiful cake on Sunday before the noon wedding that was relocated last minute due to Hurricane Harvey!  They are awesome!

I ordered a dozen and a half of cupcakes. They were beautiful and delicious. These were the best cupcakes I have eaten in a long time. I don't care for icing, but their icing was amazing. Each cupcake has a filling that correlates with the flavor of cake. They put sprinkles and edible beads on each cupcake with various color themes (pink for strawberry, brown for chocolate, red for red velvet, etc.). I was really pleased. The price was much less than expected as well. These cupcakes were not for an event, just to enjoy at home and they were beautiful. Also, I think these are new owners and not the same people associated with Cakelicious Bakery that used to be there. The cupcakes and icing are much better. Definitely different quality, taste, texture, etc. They have only been at this location for

Walmart cakes and cupcakes taste better and you will pay less. I bought a cake and one cupcake and both were tasteless. The bread texture of both products are not good. Also, the cupcake display had a few fruit flies. When I told the girl she pretended like it was normal.

Insist on tastimg a sasmple BEFORE you buy. The bakery was running a special via Facebook during Hurricane Harvey. I had several people here at my house and when I saw the advertisement on Facebook that you can buy petifores and cookies for $20 and they would deliver, I immediately called to have them delivered to try to make all my guests feel special. They were the worst cakes and cookies we have ever had. The cookies were so hard they were not edible. They had so much decoration on them that you could not taste the actual cookie. They were horrible. We ended up throwing them away. The petifores were very mushy and the icing was terrible. The customer service that I received over the telephone a few weeks before hurricane Harvey was terrible. I had called to ask about a cake for my son's birthday party and the young girl answering the telephone was just rude and didn't care about anything that I was asking. She told me that if I wanted to know what the bakery's tres leches cake tastes like, I had to come in and buy a $15 cake to taste.  Nope, I will not use this bakery.
