The rich history of The Campbell Hotel begins in 1927. Located on Historic Route 66, this fabulous, uniquely restored hotel is located in the heart of Tulsa, just minutes from downtown and The University of Tulsa. The boutique hotel brings to life old world elegance with a modern flair and is complete with 26 unique themed rooms, a 4,000 SF ballroom, adjacent Renaissance Square Event Center, conference room that seats up to 20, a full service spa, and The Campbell Lounge opens daily at 4:00pm. We have family in the Tulsa area and have stayed at the Campbell Hotel a few times when visiting around the holidays. This particular time we stayed in the Route 66 room or Suite. The hotel is great the staff is over the moon when it comes to how nice and helpful they are. The rooms are wonderfully unique. There is nothing cookie cutter or Bland or washed out about this location. The beds are always comfortable. The bathroom is always impeccably clean. And the location is close enough to any Highway that we need to jump onto to reach the family.

I really only visited the lobby as I was trying to go to Maxxwell's restaurant, but found out that the restaurant is closed for renovations and will re-open probably late February 2018 as a deli, under a different name.  The lobby of the hotel was comfortable and interesting.  I browsed for other dinner options on my phone while seated in a comfy chair across from the longest sofa I've ever seen.  Above the sofa were vintage suitcases, mounted on the wall (such a clever and appropriate choice!).

Loved this hotel...room was beautiful and so well decorated...reminded us of being in an old boarding house.  A bit noisy in the early evening but it was New Years Eve and it added to the ambiance of the place.  Loved the old bathtub and had a nice bath on a really cold evening.  Would definitely go back and try one of the other themed rooms.

I got engaged in December of 2016 and while venue shopping I care across the Campbell. I loved the room and we quickly put down the deposit. Soon after booing my fiancé got deployed making our booking date no good. The coordinator I was working with said given the unfortunate circumstance they would work with us by refunding all of part of the deposit. I didn’t hear back from them for several months so I called the hotel directly only to find out the coordinator no longer worked there. The general manager was not willing to work with us at all and I never heard back about booking a different date. Very bad customer service, I do not recommend booking an event with the Campbell hotel!

We stayed in the bridal suite. It was gorgeous, the bed is comfy and the jacuzzi tub can fit two comfortably. The staff was very friendly and we got a couples massage at the spa. The restaurant was being remodeled but there is plenty of food options near there.
